OmniCorp announced today that the multimillion dollar company will be offering a new benefits package and bonuses for employees wishing to start a family in West End.  The new package is titled Welcome to The End (a reference to West End’s familiar nickname) and rewards employees who have children or become their guardians through adoption or foster care.  Christine Major, Director of Human Relations at OmniCorp, spoke at a press conference about Welcome to The End.

“OmniCorp offers a wide array of benefits for employees and their families,” said Major.  “At OmniCorp, we believe that no person should be denied the privilege of a family.”

Some benefits the offering will include are maximum health coverage, down payments to the purchase of new vehicles, and a variety of cash bonuses.

Major and other OmniCorp execs have been working with city foster agencies to create an application method and database of available children in the Indianapolis area.  Says Major: “We wanted to involve the agencies at the beginning.  They helped us in the creation of the Welcome to The End packet.”  The packet includes several pamphlets detailing the Welcome to The End benefit, along with a foster care and adoption application and instructions on how to access the child database.

Interested families have the option of applying in person at the listed agencies, or they can apply online and search through the database without going to the adoption agency.  For most of OmniCorp’s busy professionals, applying online is ideal.  Many OmniCorp employees have shown interest.  One family has already completed the process, and is in the final stages of the adoption process.

“We’ve had a very positive result,” says Major.  “We’ve been told by the new family that the application process was very efficient.”

OmniCorp employees should contact Christine Major for more information or to receive a Welcome to The End packet.
